PERMANENT MAKE UP

Who is it for?
Permanent make-up is for any woman who would like to turn back time by wearing light, natural make-up 24 hours a day. Some people are allergic to cosmetics; others rarely use make-up or don’t know how to apply it. Permanent make-up can also be used to correct imperfections, such as an absence of eyebrows or asymmetry of the face.
It can also be useful for people with the sort of physical handicap that makes it difficult to apply makeup: shaky hands, poor eyesight etc.

WILL I BE ALLERGIC?
The implantation of pigment into the skin is a technique that has been used for centuries. During our first meeting, a form will be filled in with your state of health and any known allergies. If there is ever any serious doubt, a test will be carried out behind your ear.
Is it painful?
I use the best local anaesthetics and take the time to make your treatment comfortable. I apply your permanent make-up using the latest equipment, therefore diminishing sensitivity. Permanent make-up is not painful; at most it is occasionally uncomfortable.
HOW LONG DOES PERMANENT MAKE-UP LAST?
Permanent make-up must be maintained by retouching it every 2 – 5 years. Some people keep their permanent make-up colour longer than others due to the following factors:
- The skin’s capacity to absorb the pigment – the cellular regeneration speed – the choice of colours; darker shades last longer – exposing the pigmented zones to sunlight without covering them with total sunblock.
- DO I NEED MORE THAN ONE SESSION?
Four to six weeks after the first treatment, a second appointment will be planned to check and perfect the work. Generally two appointments will be necessary to proceed to the final application and corrections. Retouching is included in the price.
Are there any side effects?
All skin-types react differently. Oedema or inflammation can appear the day after treatment. I will instruct you on the use of permanent make-up to diminish these slight inconveniences. Very little or no pain should be felt following permanent make-up. In principal, you will be able to go to work the next day without any problem.
AIDS OR HEPATITIS?
I use sterile single-use needles, which I unwrap in front of you and which eliminate all risks of contamination or infection.
