What is DHA?

The DHA or Dihidroxyacetone is a derivative of the sugar cane 100% naturalness, nontoxic, approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in 1973 and validated by the Skin Cancer Foundation.

The DHA does not penetrate the skin but settles on the skin, which is the road base. In this process, it is important to announce that the melanin, single natural guard available to the skin versus the ultraviolet rays (UVA-UVB), does not intervene at all. Thus, the chemical reaction does not cause any allergy or reaction.

Tanning appears immediately after pulverization, it increases gradually during several hours, the maximum colour being obtained at the end of 24 hours. The DHA generates a natural and immediate reaction of the skin.
